Our Story

Beverage Creator was founded in 2025 by a team of food scientists and machine learning engineers who were frustrated by how slow and expensive traditional beverage formulation was. What should take days was taking months. What should cost thousands was costing hundreds of thousands.

We built Beverage Creator to change that.

Our AI recipe engine combines deep knowledge of food chemistry with modern machine learning to help beverage brands formulate, iterate, and perfect drink recipes in a fraction of the time and cost of traditional R&D.

We believe every beverage brand — from scrappy startups to global CPG companies — deserves access to world-class formulation tools. Our mission is to democratize beverage science and help bring better drinks to market, faster.

The Team

We’re a small, focused team of 8 based in San Francisco. Our backgrounds span food science (UC Davis, Cornell), machine learning (Stanford, MIT), and beverage industry operations (Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Diageo).

Leadership

  • Maya Chen, CEO & Co-Founder — Former R&D lead at a major CPG company. MS Food Science, UC Davis.
  • James Park, CTO & Co-Founder — ML engineer, previously at Google Brain. PhD Computer Science, Stanford.
